Terms of Service
Last updated: 25 August 2026
Turn25 ("the Platform") is an independent online community for aviation
professionals. By creating an account you agree to these Terms. If you do not
agree, please do not use the Platform.
Turn25 is an independent community and is not affiliated with, endorsed by,
or connected to any airline or aviation company. All trademarks referenced
by users belong to their respective owners.
1. Who can use Turn25
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must provide accurate information about yourself.
- One account per person. Do not impersonate anyone else.
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
2. What Turn25 is — and what it is not
Turn25 is a noticeboard and messaging service. It allows users to publish
events, accommodation listings and stories, and to contact each other.
Turn25 is not a party to any agreement between users. We do not
arrange, host, inspect, verify, guarantee or supervise any accommodation,
meeting, trip or transaction. Any arrangement you make with another user is
strictly between you and that user.
3. Accommodation listings
- Turn25 is not a letting agency, property manager or booking service.
- We do not verify listings, prices, availability or the identity of hosts or guests.
- We do not handle payments, deposits or contracts between users.
- You are solely responsible for viewing a property, checking its legality,
agreeing terms and complying with local rental and tax law.
- You must have the legal right to sublet or share any property you list.
4. Events and meeting people
- Events are organised by users, not by Turn25.
- Turn25 does not vet, supervise or attend events.
- You attend any event, trip or meeting entirely at your own risk.
- Use ordinary caution when meeting people you do not know: meet in public
places, tell someone where you are going, and trust your instincts.
5. Your content and conduct
You keep ownership of what you post, and you grant Turn25 a licence to display
it on the Platform. You must not post content that is:
- false, misleading, or a scam
- harassing, threatening, hateful or discriminatory
- sexual, obscene or otherwise inappropriate
- a breach of someone else's privacy, safety or intellectual property
- confidential operational, security or safety information belonging to an employer
- commercial advertising or spam
Do not publish names, rosters, photographs or personal details of colleagues
or passengers without their consent.
6. Reporting and enforcement
Every listing, event, story and message can be reported. We review reports and
may remove content or suspend accounts at our discretion, with or without notice,
where we believe these Terms have been breached.
7. Availability
The Platform is provided "as is" and free of charge. We do not guarantee that
it will be available, uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or discontinue
it at any time.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Turn25 and its operator are not liable
for any loss, damage, injury, cost or dispute arising from:
- your use of the Platform or inability to use it
- the conduct of other users, online or in person
- any accommodation arrangement, event, trip or transaction between users
- content published by users
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Closing your account
You may delete your account at any time by contacting
turn.info25@gmail.com. Your profile and content will be
removed, subject to any legal retention obligations.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Significant changes will be notified in the app or
by email. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain,
and the courts of Sevilla have jurisdiction, without
affecting your rights as a consumer in your country of residence.

Privacy Policy
Last updated: 25 August 2026
This policy explains what personal data Turn25 collects, why, and what rights
you have. It is written in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is:
Turn25
Sevilla, Spain
turn.info25@gmail.com
2. What we collect
You give us:
- Email address and password (the password is encrypted; we never see it)
- Display name, professional role and home base city
- Countries you mark as visited
- Content you publish: events, accommodation listings, stories
- Messages you send to other users or to event groups
- Reports you submit about content or users
Created automatically:
- Account creation date and a sequential member number
- Technical logs kept by our infrastructure providers
We deliberately collect as little as possible. We do not ask for your
real full name, phone number, address, ID documents, employer, roster or
payment details.
3. Why we use it, and on what legal basis
- To run your account and the Platform — performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)
- To show your profile and posts to other users — performance of a contract
- To keep the community safe, review reports and prevent abuse — legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f))
- To comply with legal obligations where applicable — Art. 6(1)(c)
We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it to anyone.
4. What other users can see
- Public to logged-in users: your display name, role, base city, and
anything you publish (events, listings, stories, event group messages).
- Private: your email address, your password, your private messages,
and any reports you submit. Private messages are visible only to you and the
person you are writing to.
Do not post anything in public areas that you would not want a colleague or
employer to read.
5. Who processes data on our behalf
- Supabase — database, authentication and hosting of your account data
- Netlify — hosting of the website
These providers act as data processors under contract and may store data
outside the EEA under appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. How long we keep it
- Account data: while your account exists
- Published content and messages: until you or we delete them
- After account deletion: removed promptly, except where retention is legally required
- Reports: kept for a reasonable period for safety and evidentiary purposes
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you may:
- access a copy of your personal data
- correct inaccurate data
- have your data erased ("right to be forgotten")
- restrict or object to certain processing
- receive your data in a portable format
- lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority
To exercise any of these, write to turn.info25@gmail.com.
We respond within one month.
8. Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored with access
rules that restrict each user to their own data. Passwords are hashed and never
visible to us. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
9. Cookies and similar technologies
Turn25 does not use advertising or tracking cookies. We store a login token in
your browser so that you stay signed in. This is strictly necessary for the service
to work and is removed when you log out.
10. Children
Turn25 is not intended for anyone under 18. If we learn that we hold data about
a minor, we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Significant changes will be notified in the app or by
email before they take effect.
